Project Objects Recognised as Visionary Three Years in a Row by Gartner
Project Objects’ status as one of the leading developers of Extended Enterprise Project & Portfolio Management (EPPM), has been reaffirmed in this year’s Gartner Magic Quadrant1. For the third consecutive year, the company’s PPM solution has been awarded a Visionary status, following a rigorous competitive analysis by Gartner analysts of the entire PPM software marketplace.
During its product and company review, Gartner highlighted Project Object’s ‘mobile team space’ feature as a software strength. This is accessed via a mobile application and available for both iOS and Android users. It allows executive users to access management dashboards and team members to manage collaboration items using mobile devices.
Gartner also highlighted another important strength, the launch of a new Project Objects company, Uppwise, to focus on the continued development and marketing of our agile PPM product range. In addition to agile product development, Uppwise also undertakes R&D for future product enhancements, including Artificial Intelligence, smart search and other innovations.
The strength of Project Objects’ rapidly expanding reseller partner base was also emphasised as a positive attribute, because it which enables our company to engage, deploy and support a larger number of customers in a greater variety of global regions.
“We are very proud to have achieved Visionary classification once again from Gartner. It demonstrates that Project Objects is a leading PPM solution, with specific expertise in the oil and gas, energy, construction and financial services” says Gioacchino Gaudioso, CEO at Project Objects.
Understanding Gartner’s Visionary Classification
According to Gartner, Visionaries are recognised for having innovative approaches in areas such as collaboration, mobile device support, interoperability with third-party data sources and group-specific collaboration.
Visionaries also demonstrate forward-thinking features and traits, such as a cloud-based architecture and agile application development cadence. Project Objects recently launched Version 10.0 of its solution, representing the company’s most significant product release during the past twelve months and a new paradigm in the development of PPM solutions. By expanding the utilisation scenarios available to include any user class and methodological approach, Project Objects has taken ‘configurability’ to new, unprecedented levels.
