Position Location: Home-based in the UK
Reports to: Marketing Director

Project Objects is a leading provider of Project and Portfolio Management Software and a privately-held, growing, global Company.  We are currently seeking an energetic, self-motivated Telemarketing Executive to support the sales team to win strategic net new sales of their Project & Portfolio Management (PPM) suite.  Project Objects has been named a Visionary in the Gartner Magic Quadrant for PPM Cloud since 2010 and is a rising new leader with an aggressive growth plan, household name customers and demonstrative success.  The company operates in the CPG, Utilities, Oil & Gas, Aerospace and Manufacturing sectors in the UK & Europe.   The Telemarketing Executive role is full time and home based.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Telemarketing Executive will generate new qualified calls and/or meetings for members of the Project Objects sales team and support the marketing efforts.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Cold calling prospects, quickly building relationships, ascertaining requirements and qualifying them in / out 
  • Generating qualified calls/meetings for the two sales executives
  • Targeting executive level contacts in our strategic sectors across the UK, Benelux, Nordics, Germany and France
  • Supporting and liaising with the Sales team to accurately brief in qualified leads, reporting on conversations and prospect requirements
  • Management of all calls and own call schedule using Outlook and Salesforce
  • Management of sales team diaries and coordinating further call times dependent on prospect and sales team member availability
  • Ensuring Salesforce is kept up to date with precise, detailed and timely information
  • Calling prospects following marketing campaigns to establish their interest
  • Utilising various research sources to identify new targets and opportunities to expand and strengthen the prospect database
  • Producing weekly and monthly reports on call success rate and ad hoc reports as required
  • Ad hoc duties to support the Company’s lead generation and marketing plans

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • 5-10 years telemarketing experience ideally gained from the enterprise software sector
  • Be self-motivated with a can-do, tenacious attitude
  • Have the ability to build relationships quickly
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills, a high degree of resilience and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
